| 1. |
Restrict your paper to a maximum of eight (8) pages, including
references, figures and appendices. You will probably be encouraged to
bring multiple copies of a longer version for distribution at the conference,
but you should consult your group leader on this. |
| 2. |
Write the paper in English. |
| 3. |
Type and centre the title (in capitals) author(s) name(s)
and affiliation(s) of the author(s), in this order. |
| 4. |
Underline the name(s) of the presenting author(s). |
| 5. |
Begin the paper with an abstract of up to ten (10) lines,
single spaced, preferably in italics. Immediately following this, a second
abstract in a language other than English may be included. |
| 6. |
Give references in one of the accepted standard forms. |
| 7. |
Use a 14-point type (TIMES recommended), a 16 point line
space, and 6 points between paragraphs, occupying a frame of 170 by 247
mm. Please use the exact dimensions, and fill the entire frame. It is possible
that papers will be reduced by 70% for publication. |
| 8. |
The paper, in the specified format, should be sent as an
e-mail attachment to the Group Coordinator. It is wise to send it in WORD
and in RTF (Rich Text Format) as well. Include your name or initials in
the label of the file, so that the GC can identify individual papers more
readily. Your covering e-mail message should give the title of your paper.
The GC will ask for a different version if the ones sent cannot be accessed.
In the extreme of failure to access, paper copies will be requested.
For colleagues who do not have adequate electronic facilities, 6 paper
copies should be sent with enough time to meet the due date. One copy should
be in 'camera ready' form. Use an ink jet or laser printer. Avoid
dot matrix, since it is not suitable for photocopying. Do not number the
pages. Pencil numbers lightly on the back of each page. Do not staple the
copies of the paper. |
| 9. |
Send a copy of the paper proposal form
to the Group Coordinator and to the Secretariat. |
